Thanks Karin....can't believe I was first. I hadn't even prepared my Silent Sunday this week! I just grabbed a picture from my mobile phone as I didn't want to not do one - I love the photography link ups too much!

Awww. That is gorgeous. I remember my grandad teaching me to play the piano when I was a little girl.

I'm so jealous because mine's still under the stairs. Are lessons available? ;)

She looks like a natural!

Oh sweet!
I am quite relieved that the Little Man doesn't have access to a piano at the moment, he managed to slam his fingers in the lid the last time we were at my folks place . . . big crash . . . silence . . . massive wail :-(!

I love when little people experiment with music. It happens a lot at our house - especially with the drumkit!

Lovely photo. I'd love a piano. Number 1 son is a musician and has always moaned that we don't have one.

That's gorgeous. I love how little ones are just so fearless when it comes to experimenting with music. xxx

What a lovely old piano and the colours in the shot are wonderful. Mine love to 'play' ours.

Love the antique look to the picture! There's nothing quite like a wee one on the piano! Very cute!:o)

Thanks for all your lovely comments :) Very appreciated.

It was a very old and out of tune piano in a pub. Sadly I'm not musical enough to own one of these.

That photo is gorgeous; not only is the subject fabulous, but the photography is really good quality. I'd be framing that.
What camera do you use?

Unknown said...

Thank you everyone else who's commented since my last comment.

TheBoyandMe - it was taken on my iPhone 4, then changed the look of it to nostalgic (I think) in Camera+ app.

When I eventually learn how to use our scanner I'll dig out a picture of me at the piano at a similar age. :-)
Then maybe I can start participating in Flashback Friday again.
Anyway your nostalgic theme on your app definitely works as that photo looks as old as mine.
Love it

Hi Heather my darling
Thank you for your kind words about my comment on your Robocop hubby (would love to know his thoughts....or then again, maybe not??). Sorry I didn't respond through Twitter. Have been off Twitter for the last little bit (long story).
