Great I thought!
A perfect excuse to dust off my DSLR and take a photo with my camera remote control of Mini Cheddar and I doing what we do best - having fun together. More often than not, I'm the one behind the camera so very rarely do we get any photos of the two of us. I think the last half decent one of us was taken in March 2010 and resides on my About Me page.
I was excited! I even put her cute little camera t-shirt on to mark the occasion.
However, she had other plans.
She didn't want the camera set up, not even the remote control could get her interested. She had a strop, she got upset, she got all snotty and she dribbled. A lot.
So this is my entry this week. A moody toddler captured forever to mark a great day in photography. Shame on you Mini Cheddar.
Now head on over and check out all the other entries...

That's a face I recognise!! What a great capture , I liove it! Good old toddler tantrums - they are hard work xx
I think this is a great capture, how often to you take photos of the other side of toddler life? When I looked for one I realised we have none.
Aw that is so cute, when they decide they don't want to do something...it will not happen @Kahanka
awwww, but what a fantastic capture nonetheless ;)
My toddler is going that exact same thing - refusing point blank to have his photo taken! You have to start getting sneaky! Regardless that she didn't ant to plat that really is the perfect photo! x
Great photo capturing that expression - cute even when midst tantrum x
Ha ha, but what an adorablely cute little face! xx
This is such an excellently taken photo! You can HEAR that cry! Brilliant shot. Hugs to the little lady!
Love it, just show it to her when she's 18, in front of her friends. She'll have another strop, but without the tears! :-)
Oh bless, my photo didn't really go the way I wanted itto so I took another too!
I so recognise the moody preschooler stage. It leads on nicely to the moody school age child, then the moody preteen....
Thats the beauty of photography though- it totally captures your mood and emotions! So although MC had a diva strop it is still a fab photo! x
Awww, bless! That is a very real photograph of one of those 'moments' captured brilliantly x Love her little camera top x
I LOVE this photo! And it's probably turned out better than any of the others you thought you might get :)
I love the infamous Terrible Twos Tantrums!!! Great picture Heather! x
Isn't that just always the way!
Love your photo though.
This is the first time I have posted a photo for the gallery, so it is great fun to see everyone's fantastic shots!
Lou :-)
Awwww Mini Cheddar, loving the "no pictures please" celeb-esque diva strop!
Oh dear, it doesn't look good at all does it? Poor little mite...she will NOT be forced into anything will she? :)
That'll come back and haunt her on her 18th won't it! :)
Oh dear!! Oh well at least you got a photo of her that you'll be able to taunt her with in years to come.
Oh I recognise that body language! Brilliant photo, even with snot and dribble :)
love it !
Oh bless! I know how that one goes. Great photo though! But why won't they just play nice and smile for the camera? :) xX
She may not be very happy about it, but it's a great shot. And it's definitely the sort of photo that you'll look back at and laugh. x
truely that is a cracking shot!
Oh I love that picture....it captures her perfectly. It really needs to be enlarged and put up on the wall for all to see! x
I have one like this but was scared to use it so well done you on being honest and true
Aww bless her. But do you know what, we never take photos of 'sulks' ordinarily so right there you have a snapshot of life in the SAHM household! To embarrass her with in later life too . . .
That is super-cute, I love it.
Aww bless her!!
